On the bottom centre of your screen, you would see a hand icon, Click on the hand icon to “raise hand” and the speaker will be notified that you have a query/doubt.
In order to ask questions to the speakers, on the Bottom of the screen, you would see the Q&A option, click on it to type and send in your questions to the speaker. The speakers/presenters will have the choice to answer either live or type it in for you in the Q&A space.

Now a session, in which you only get to listen to a speaker, see a presentation, then there would not be much point in doing it live, hence, APPeL provides multiple ways for attendees to interact with the speakers/presenters/panellists during the virtual session. You may:
  1. Raise Hand - Click on the raise hand option and let the speaker/presenter know that you have a query/opinion to share.
  2. Q&A - Type in your questions and send them to speakers in real time. Speakers/presenters will have the choice to answer either live or type it in for you in the Q&A space.
  3. Live Polling - Speakers may choose to conduct live polls during an on-going session, you would be able to cast your vote and see results in real-time.
In case of poor internet connection an participant would probably not be able to view the session perfectly. Recommended internet bandwidth of minimum 512kbps.
One host can run only 1 session on a track. In the parallel track, another host can run a parallel session.
